I had the good fortune to ride around Hilton Head Island on a Townie that was one of the bikes included as a perk at the rental property we vacationed in Sea Pines Plantation. I can say WOW this saddle was one comfortable ride. Also the vinyl fabric is sturdy and not think like some of the gel type saddles.When we got home I went right over to the local bike shop that sells Electra products and ordered this Townie saddle for my Raleigh Gruv 2, also a pedal forward bike like the Electra Townie. The Gruv line was made for about 2 years and unfortunately discontinued by Raleigh, although it is a great bike with good components. I had to patiently wait since the saddle was on back order. About 1 month later it arrived and it was worth the wait. Compared to the Avenir saddle that was stock on the Raleigh, the Townie saddle is far more comfortable.
